Our next interview in the Free auditorium is with Lori Latimer.
Lori is an expert on family law and has direct experience of bringing up children in two households.
Her speciality is helping women transition and rebuild their lives after divorce.
On 6 December I’ll be talking to Lori about getting through the holidays when you have children – how to deal with “sharing” your children with the other parent, and then how to get through the time you have to be alone when the children are with the other parent.

Are you guilty of Elephant-itis?
By Jena Griffiths | November 18, 2011
(Not to be confused with elephantiasis, which is a genuine medical condition that affects millions of people in Africa)
“Elephant-itis” is a phrase made up by Richard Unger to describe only going after “the Elephant” (a big sale or massive project) and neglecting daily necessities that keep you and your family alive such as planting corn or bagging rabbits for the family pot.
In our recent call on success vs failure we discussed various ways people set themselves up to fail.
This was a big one.
😉
We also discussed Richard’s 5 step process for getting on track:
– Start where you are
– Take one small step at a time
– Measure what you’re doing -be held accountable
– Give yourself a deadline – completion date
– Decide on a reward for completion
This call can be accessed in the Earth School archives.

The secret to freedom and success: outwitting the devil
By Jena Griffiths | October 30, 2011
Napoleon Hill: Outwitting the devil
During our call last week on fear of success vs fear of failure we also discussed this recently released book by Napoleon Hill.
(It was written in 1938 but only now released for publication by the Hill foundation.)
It’s a fascinating account of a period in Hill’s life prior to publishing his success principles and Think and Grow Rich, when he saw himself as a failure and was filled with doubt, fear and self contempt.
In the book Hill talks about faith vs fear and our need to have a definite purpose.
Hill says the one thing we need to guard against is drifting and fear of any kind is what starts us on this path. Also, “Any habit which causes one to procrastinate – to put off reaching a definite decision – leads to the habit of drifting.” p.85
Hill’s 7 principles to attain spiritual, mental and physical freedom.
1. Definiteness of purpose
2. Mastery over self
3. learning from adversity
4. controlling environmental influence (associations)
5. Time (giving permanency to positive, rather than negative thought habits and developing wisdom.
6. Harmony (acting with definitenes of purpose to become the dominating influence in your own mental, spiritual and physical environment.)
7. Caution (thinking through your plan before you act.) (p148)
Notes from Sharon Lechter who annoted the book for today’s reader.
(( P + T ) x A x A ) + F = your Personal Success Equation
Passion + Talent
combined with seeking the right Association
and taking Action
plus a strong Faith in yourself and your mission
This is a book really worth reading and re-reading.

Letting go of fear
By Jena Griffiths | October 25, 2011
Our next call in Earth School’s free auditorium is with Rhinda Fairless.
The topic – letting go of fear and other limitations.
Time: 3pm Central Europe, 8am CST, 9am EST. Elsewhere.
Rhinda is an Earth School member and recently qualified Access Consciousness practitioner.
When Rhinda told me a bit about Access Consciousness and what it could do I asked her if she could arrange an interview with Access bars founder Gary Douglas or his partner Dr. Dain Heer.
Rhinda unflinchingly offered herself instead!
This really impressed me.
Wow this stuff must work.
So I took her up on her offer.
To participate in this call simply log into the free auditorium alongside.
It’s free.
What is Access Consciousness?
There are 32 bars of energy that run through and around your head that connect to different aspects of your life. Access practitioners call these points “The Bars.”
They store the electromagnetic part of all the thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions and beliefs that you have ever had.
There are Bars for healing, body, control, awareness, creativity, power, aging, sex and money.
Touch one Bar and you begin to clear away the energy locked up in that area or aspect of your life just by touching it.
Just by gently touching the Bars you effectively erase everything you have ever stored there. Just five minutes can erase 5,000 to 10,000 years of stored points of view.
Having your Bars run, meaning the 32 points on your head being gently touched, effortlessly and easily releases anything that doesn’t allow you to receive.
If you did nothing else with Access Consciousness but experience your Bars being touched, you would begin to be able to change every limitation, difficulty and aspect of your life that does not work for you.
To find out how this can help you let go of whatever’s holding you back, join us on the call with Rhinda tomorrow.
Please post any questions you have for Rhinda in the question box on the event page.
There’ll be a replay on the same link.
The Access Consciousness mantra:
Repeat 10x morning and evening
“All of Life Comes to Me with Ease, Joy, and Glory”
And get ready to open up to receiving.
More about Rhinda Fairless
Rhinda is a certified Bars Facilitator for Access Consciousness. She’s also a visionary artist and pranic healer.

Do you fear failure?
By Jena Griffiths | October 25, 2011
Our theme this month in Earth School is fear of success vs fear of failure.
We’ll be exploring this theme from various angles and
on Thursday 27 October 2011 w’ll be discussing this theme with Richard Unger
in our monthly Earth School Inner Circle call: What do your hands say about this?
Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich says that success comes usually just after our greatest failure.
But how many of us are willing to go that far?
How about you?
Do you think to much and stop just 3 feet short of gold?
Or worse still before you even take out the shovel to start digging?
What’s stopping you and how can you release the brakes once and for all?
Join us this Thursday for what your hands say about this theme.
And join us in the free auditorium for what experts advise.

Do you fear change?
By Jena Griffiths | October 19, 2011
I’m in deepest Africa at the moment.
In the heart of the South African bushveld
Washed in birdsong
just as the first summer rains bring radical change.
Where? Maduma Boma.
The changes I see in this country?
Its springtime here for African women.
Beautiful to see.
How so?
Most visible is the change in headgear.
Away from doek and burden.
The new head gear is ligher and more playful.
A liberating new art form:
Creative synthetic hair.
I even bought one.
It has tiger stripes
for more courage.
Our topic this month in Earth School
is fear of success vs fear of failure.
How much of this is really fear of change?
Fear of changes in expectations.
Fear of how others will change due to our success.
Are you keeping yourself small to keep the peace?
Do you fear backlash, jealousy or greater demands?
Fear of success and fear of failure.
I’ll be interviewing RIchard Unger on how this shows up in your hands
and I’ll be interviewing other experts on what to do.
Stay tuned.

Are you hiding your flaws instead of flaunting them?
By Jena Griffiths | October 19, 2011
Our weaknesses are also our strengths. Just seen with different eyes.
Can you imagine Gorbachev without his birthmark?
It’s was his hallmark, adding intrigue and vulnerability.
Did you know there’s a remote island chain in Siberia shaped exactly like his birthmark?
Suddenly it’s a hotspot tourist destination.
What other reason to go there?
Could Gorbachev have imagined this in his wildest dreams while he tottered
between surgery and self acceptance?
Would we still remember what he looked like if he’d swayed the other way?
What makes you stand out?
Love your flaws by re-dreaming them as strengths.
In a recent call with Nina Divina we discussed how to love those parts of yourself you most want to hide.
Listen to the call with NaNa Divina in the free auditorium
How does wanting to hide something from others show up in hands?
