Riding the horse called Yes
By Jena Griffiths | October 13, 2012
For all that has been: Thanks!
For all that shall be: Yes!
Dag Hammarskjöld
—————————————–
Do you know about the horse called ‘Yes’
that’s always at your side?
Apparently you can climb up and ride it
no matter where you are right now,
in the darkest forests or the battlefields,
in times of pain or deep loss or joy.
The horse called Yes is mindful awareness.
Saying yes to the cards life deals you.
Trusting there’s a bigger scheme of things.
Sometimes lying in the mud ignoring this horse,
shouting at the universe feels so much better
than simply letting go.
Saying Yes is not defeat.
Saying Yes is not a numbing out of feeling.
It’s a yes to tears, to feeling so deeply that we can reach completion,
let go and move on.
I first read about the horse called Yes in David Richo’s brilliant book
‘The Five Things We Cannot Change and the Happiness We Find by Embracing Them.
I love this book nearly as much as I love Richo’s other work, Shadow Dance.
His words are full of deep wisdom but at the same time each page is a song.
Here’s a beautiful poem by Rumi about saying yes to feelings.
The Guest House
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
~ Rumi ~
Wishing you a weekend called Yes
full of sunshine and laughter.
And may you be facing the same way your horse is going…

Refusing negative energy
By Jena Griffiths | October 1, 2012
I’ve just been reading a wonderful little book called Zor by J.B.
The author says it will change the world, and probably it will
because it has a powerful message packaged in a very
readable story.
What’s the message?
If someone offers you negative energy you don’t have to accept it.
You can simply say “No thank you.”
In the book, Zor says “no thank you” to some street bullies who are about
to beat him up. They’re furious but because he refuses to accept their gift
of negative chi they have no choice but to walk away.
I know you can tell bad spirits to leave the room or your house.
You ask them to leave and they do. But I’ve never thought it possible with real
live flesh and blood humans.
You simply refuse the hot potato they are wanting to pass on to you.
And that’s that! No more getting angry because you’re being dumped on.
Or angry because someone else is angry.
More importantly, its our personal responsibility not pass on any negative ch’i
to others. Instead we can learn to see it building up in ourselves then defuse it
consciously rather than pass it on.
I think knowing your fingerprints and what triggers you emotionally is a key way to do this
Because you can understand the mechanics of it and then choose not to let yourself to get dragged under.
I’m going to have some fun with this concept this week and refuse negative ch’i
whenever it gets offered to me in the coming days.
I’ll report back to you next week with what happened. 😉
If it doesn’t work then I guess this may well be the last post you’ll ever get from me.
😉
Why not join me on this journey of refusing negative ch’i this week.
Please share your adventures or misadventures with the rest of us.
Write and tell us what happened to you below.
Actually saying no is one of the three tasks of emotional maturity.
If you’d like to know what the other 3 tasks are, join us on the call here.

Like the Hero’s journey, first described by Joseph Campbell, which applies equally well to both men and women so too the mythological story of Psyche applies to everyone, not just women.
On the call we’ll be diving deep this mythology, heart and the spiritual journey, and how markers in your hands and fingerprints can help you on this path.

Can you bounce?
By Jena Griffiths | September 17, 2012
“There are 2 kinds of people. Those who bounce and those who break.” – Brian Tracy
Like those cartoon characters that get dropped or steamrolled or shredded, it really is possible and it’s never to late to bounce back. Resilience is learn-able.
How?
The first step is to take full responsibility for whatever happened. Even when it really was not your fault.
As tempting as it is grab the moral high ground when someone kicks you in the teeth. Instead of blaming, fuming, raging… try a complete about turn. Explore all the ways you can take full ownership of whatever happened. Dig deep if you have to. The tap root of seeing yourself as the victim must come out.
Grab back the reigns by saying, “I am responsible” Heady, scary, exhilarating. Hold a higher vision of yourself. Much better than lying in a heap.
Try these three 3 steps
1. radical control. Take full responsibility
2. radical forgiveness. Free yourself and your energy and focus.
3. radical re-visioning. Start seeing yourself as already being at the top of the bounce. Or whatever your highest vision of yourself is.
To achieve steps 1, 2 and 3 and align your vision with your purpose with speed, grace and focus it helps to know your fingerprints.

The Validity of the Personality – next call with Richard Unger
By Jena Griffiths | September 3, 2012
Our next monthly topic call with Richard Unger is on axiom 3 of soul psychology.
“The Validity of the Personality”.
Tuesday, 4 September 2012. 11 am Pacific, 8 pm Central Europe.
In July we explored axiom 1 of Soul Psychology in detail and in August axiom 2.
Axiom 1 – experience required
You are a spirit having a human experience. You are here to have experience. You are not your “mistakes”.
Life is a process. Be gentle on yourself. This is a lifetime journey.
Axiom 2 – the Paradox principle
How a person handles opposites of orientation and motivation is at the center of Richard’s approach to hands.
Understanding Life Purpose Inverse is a vital tool for creating a life of deeper meaning.
Axiom 3 – the Validity of the Personality
In this call we will explore why a proper understanding of hand shape dynamics is absolutely crucial to understanding a person’s life purpose and life lessons.
Members replays of all three calls.

More about Kay Packard
Kay’s study of hand analysis and intensive course work began in 2003. In 2005 she became certified to read hands and fingerprints from the International Institute of Hand Analysis (IIHA). After completing her first year of graduate studies with Richard Unger she began leading workshops and assisting year-long hand analysis study programs. After completing advanced studies in 2007 she became an Associate Faculty with the IIHA and taught the IIHA Intensive. In September 2010 she founded the American Academy of Hand Analysis where she created and teaches Level 1, 2 and 3 courses in the ancient art and science of Hand Analysis. She guides people to manifest their Life Purpose through integrating Hand Analysis and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
In June 2007 she began her rigorous studies of Emotional Freedom Techniques with Robin Duncan at Miracle Center of California. She earned her EFTCert-I in 2008 through Gary Craig’s DVD training and certification program. She meets privately with clients, and with groups, to assist in the release of stress, anxiety, anger, fear, resentment, guilt and other barriers to optimal living.
As these two practices developed individually, she began to see a direct correlation between the core issues clients were reporting during EFT sessions and the life lessons etched in their fingerprints. Today, during EFT sessions, clients join Kay in reciting unique ‘statements’ to gently embrace their emotional issues and their life lessons. Results include immediate relief, peace, calm and self-acceptance.
Life purpose can truly be discovered, explored and illuminated through blending EFT and Hand Analysis.

Life Purpose and the rule of Paradoxes
By Jena Griffiths | August 21, 2012
Earth School re-opens today after the summer holidays with the next Soul Psychology Call with Richard Unger.
21 August 2012, at 11 am Pacific, 2 pm Eastern, 8pm Central Europe.
We’re exploring the “Paradox Principle” today.
What is the Paradox Principle?
How does this affect you living your life purpose?
How is this different to the law of polarity?
I like to think of it as the soft underbelly of your life purpose
where the pattern of your “Right Life” looks reversed.
Just as you can’t have a wave without a trough. You can’t get to
your Right Life without also experiencing the opposite.
In his novel, The World according to Garp , John Irving wrote about a kid called Walt who imagined a giant toad, “lurking offshore, waiting to suck him under and drag him out to sea. The terrible Under Toad.” (His parents had warned him to beware of the “undertow”) .
Each of us has our own personal Undertoad.
Could it be that what you think of as your weakness or as holding you back is actually the one thing that could propel your life forward in ways you never dreamed possible?
Here’s what Richard says about this call:
“The Paradox Principle shows up in every hand reading in multiple ways. For
one, there is the Delicious Dilemma, without which a hand reading makes
no sense at all. How a person handles the inevitable opposites of
orientation and motivation is at the center of my approach to hands.
Further, to fully understand the role of one’s Life Purpose Inverse is
often the key to my client’s creating a life of deeper meaning and
fulfillment. In this interview, I will explore these topics at a level of
detail not normally afforded either in a reading or in class.”
This is an essential call for anyone trying to make sense of life from a hands or fingerprint perspective.

Inner Circle members log in here to attend.
Hope you can join us for this game changing call.
There’s a replay available straight after the live event.
