Your 3 very different mastermind groups
By Jena Griffiths | February 6, 2012
The importance of having a Master Mind group was first brought to our attention by Napoleon Hill in his 1937 classic “Think and Grow Rich.” But Hill also described a second type of master mind – a virtual mastermind made up of “invisible counselors”- people Hill admired and with whom he called up in his imagination to hold “cabinet meetings” nightly. At first Hill gathered this group together to borrow personality traits from them but eventually the group, and characters within it, took on a life of their own. Hill found himself adding more and more characters to his cabinet, from all time periods including the present. Hill wrote: “I now go to my imaginary counselors with every difficult problem that confronts my clients and me. The results are often astonishing….” Hill said that during these meetings his mind was most receptive to ideas, thoughts and knowledge that reached him through the sixth sense.
Last week, in part 2 of our call on Building a Successful Practice, Richard and I discussed this second imaginary master mind. Richard said that he also adds his own sub-personalities to his boardroom table – including characters that aren’t always positive, like “Mr Not Enough” or the inner critic. Often these sides of oneself have useful advice to offer and hearing them out often is all it takes to neutralize their sabotaging behaviours.
Perhaps we don’t need two master mind groups but three. The virtual group are really two distinct groups. The one group are spiritual guides or people you admire. The second virtual group are all parts of yourself, sub personalities or archetypes you can call on.
A lot of these archetypes are visible in your your hands. I often advise my clients to buy special clothing for the sub-personalities they wish to strengthen. Or breathe life into them by painting them or including them in collage work.
I like Richard’s idea of putting all your sub personalities around a board room table and making them part of your advisory board.
In the coming months we’ll be exploring many of these through hand shape, particularly the 16 archetypes we’ll be exploring with Richard in his advanced hand shapes course.
More about this course here.

The 90 second rule – loving your clients
By Jena Griffiths | February 6, 2012
I have Jim Fannin in my car at the moment – in the form a series of CDs from Nightingale-Conant.
I’m really impressed with his 90 Second Rule . A series of one and a half minute exercises you can do anywhere
anytime throughout the day.
Jim is a world class sports coach but his principles apply in business and family life too. They really are ingenius and simple to apply.
I love the idea of stopping whatever you’re focusing on and taking a 90 second vacation to your most favourite place in the world, and the real time effect this has on your body.
Or his great way of losing weight – spending 90 seconds eating something you really love – in your imagination. (Your mind doesn’t actually know the difference!)
Or loving your clients by sending them 90 seconds images of them really benefiting from your services…
These few described above are really just the tip of the iceberg. Highly recommended.

Marshall Rosenberg – the man who brought us Non-violent Communication
“To observe without evaluating is the highest form of human intelligence.”
Rosenberg’s work in German:
Compassionate communication – Marshall Rosenberg.
This is what Earth School member Othmar Morger says about Marshall’s work: “This is the stuff that should be taught

For French speakers, Othmar recommends Jaques Salomé, “The second best expert in this field.”

Building a successful practice
By Jena Griffiths | January 18, 2012
Our next topic in Earth School is about building a successful practice. Over the next few weeks I’ll be exploring what the gurus say about this.
People I deeply admire like Brian Tracy and Brendon Burchard.
Next Tuesday, January 24, Tuesdays with Richard kicks off and on our first call I also plan to grill Richard Unger on this topic.
How does one build a successful healing practice? Most healers and also possibly 90% or more of hand analysts also have day jobs on the side.
They’re teachers or office workers during the week, doing their “real work” part-time. There’s nothing wrong with this. In fact, some people argue that this is how to avoid healer burnout. That traditionally, shamans also cut grass and served the commuity in other ways that also keep them grounded as people.
But Richard took another track. In his 20’s, with a young family to feed he decided to become a full time hand analyst and now, +40 years later, is still going strong.
How did he do it? What pitfalls has he learnt about en route that he can share with the rest of us?

How to heal anything
By Jena Griffiths | January 8, 2012
I’ve just been reading “The Healing Code” by Alexander Lloyd and Ben Johnson MD who claim a virtually 100% success rate for healing any health, relationship or success issue, from chronic depression right through to cancer or other incurable ailments.
Its an incredibly simple process where you point all your fingers at four different parts of your head and neck successively :
First at the third eye, then the adam’s apple, then the jaw then the temples.
Each time your fingers are a few inches (6 cm) away from your head so that the energy jumps across (like in a spark plug).
while you say a healing code (prayer) to heal negative images or belief patterns or destructive cellular memories related to whatever is bothering you.
Lloyd first used the system to cure his wife’s chronic depression and subsequently many other people of all sorts of ailments. He was later joined by an MD Ben Johnson who was impressed with Lloyd’s results, including his own recovery from an incurable disease. (Lou Gehrig’s disease.)
Apparently the system even works well on animals, children and non believers. 😉
There’s a universal healing code plus more specific ones for 12 different heart issues which are the source of all ailments.
The thinking behind the system: all healing occurs energetically, via the heart and through grace.
I think its worth checking out, especially if you have a really serious condition.
You can download a kindle version of the book or get it at your local bookstore.
