Mood swings and sleep mp3
By Jena Griffiths | November 2, 2010
The call with Rafeella Colombo on mood swings, depression and sleep was really interesting.
Only problem, her voice was on skype and she sometimes faded.
Here’s the link to the replay
I may redo this call one day and throw in a few more questions if Dr Colombo is willing.
Looks like I’m going to have find a new method of interviewing people in Europe.

False hope vs clear vision
By Jena Griffiths | October 30, 2010
Did you ever hear of the old African way to catch a monkey?
First you dig a hole in the ground and put a banana in it.
Then you cover the hole leaving only a very narrow gap.
The monkey squeezes his hand into the hole to grab the banana
but as soon as he makes a fist his hand no longer fits through
the gap.
The only way to free his hand is to let go of the banana.
But….. he can’t!
Why not?
His brain is wired: food = survival = don’t let go of the
banana!
So when his captors come, he screams his head off and desperately
tries to get his hand out with the banana still in it.
Does this sound familiar?
Unlike monkeys, we humans can rewire our brains for freedom but
there’s a complication. The downside of a big brain.
What’s that?
Thinking too much instead of acting.
One example of this is called “false hope”.
This is when we dream about future possibilites that make us feel
better about now instead of acting right now.
So in this instance (can’t let go of banana) do you:
a. freak out
b. curl up in a ball.
c. blame another monkey friend
d. say, maybe this is my destiny. I guess God/the universe has
big plans for me as a captured monkey! (false hope)
e. or do you get present enough to hear the voice in your heart
that says “Open your hand. Let go now!”
Richard Moss in his “Mandala of Being” explains that a,b,c and d
above are the result of not being in the moment. He says we need to
check in and ask ourselves:
“If I am not present right now where am I?”
Just the labeling helps.
We’re either focused on ourselves (depressive me or grandious me)
or on the other (it’s all your fault)
or we’re focused on the past (nostalgia or regret)
or the future (anxiety or false hope)
He says emotions caused by thinking (anxiety, depression, regret,
false hope) rather than feeling are a direct measure of our
distance away from ourselves and being alive to the present
moment. (Hearing intuition/ acting now.)
So what about visualising a future that currrently seems
improbable?
Holding a clear vision for the future is different to false hope.
This is like the monkey seeing himself free in the jungle with
his loved ones and then as a result of this clear vision being
able to act on the inner guidance that says let go of the banana
right now.
But how can I get to where I want to go?
It’s not your job to ask how.
It is your job to hold a clear vision of what you really want.
(In this case, to be free in the jungle.)
This is the first step.
The next step is to listen to the clear voice within and then act
on this in the immediate moment.
Take immediate and massive action.
In this case, let go of the banana.
What has this to do with your hands?
Sometimes we can’t hear our own inner voice for a number of
reasons.
Lack of self esteem is the main cause.
Another cause is called desire pollution:
when we tune into what everyone else wants and then can’t tell
the difference between our own wants and someone else’s. This is
an extreme hand marker indicating poor boundaries.
We’ll be discussing this and other markers next week on the next call with Richard Unger, the genius
behind modern hand analysis. The topic is “Can’t say no.”

Why the ear? (a brief rationale and model of Earth School)
By Jena Griffiths | October 26, 2010
As a kid I remember spending hours studying the work work of Hieronymus Bosch. Especially his Garden of Earthly delights.
This piece is so poignant:
The sharp knife of interpretation
Why?
Everything in this world hinges on interpretation and resulting energetic vibration.
Or as Spike Milligan puts it:
Bump
Things that go ‘bump’ in the night
Should not really give one a fright.
It’s the hole in each ear
That lets in the fear,
That, and the absence of light!
Spike Milligan
The Four Hells on Earth
The ear is the doorway in and out of the 4 hells on Earth
because this is where changes in interpretation first come in.
These hells are created by thought….
Okay, I’ll admit it…
Maybe I just have a thing about ears.
Come to think of it, here’s a self portrait. Painted in 2009.
To remind myself of the art and skill of listening.
But then strangely, here’s a section of my vision board from a few months before Earth School was created:
Scores of tiny ears inside an ear! Talk about manifestation….
So what?
Be very careful what you put on your vision board – chances are you’ll get it!
🙂
So why hand analysis classes inside Earth School?
Hand analysis is the most powerful self help/self inquiry/ self transformation tool I have ever come across.
It helps you know yourself better and also see your life through the lens of your soul purpose.
Your fingerprints are the key to navigating out of the 4 hells. They help you change your vibration by changing your interpretation of events so that you no longer feel like a victim of circumstance or a judge but rather a playful co-creator in the grand scheme of things.
Seeing this shifts you in such a big way. Consciously managing your emotions around your thesis in Earth School is is your contribution to the evolution of human consciousness.
Understanding your soul contract, and learning to love and support yourself and others as a result, is the long term project of Earth School.
Register on the right for all the interviews in the free auditorium.
These calls are with wise souls or teachers whom I admire.
People who can help you get out of whatever hell on Earth you’re in.
Often they have nothing to sell. No follow up workshops etc etc.
For example, the free call with one of Europe’s top psychiatrists,
Dr Raffaella Ada Colombo, who is also a trained Jungian analyst and in charge of a psychiatric hospital in Italy. She also lectures regularly at ISAP, the International School of Analytical (Jungian) Psychology in Zurich. Or the call with Byron Katie on how to stop torturing yourself.
You can listen to what many wise souls have to say and even ask questions before the call. The links to her call are in the free member’s zone. The replays are freely available in Earth School permanently. Click here to access these interviews

Healing people with breath and love
By Jena Griffiths | October 18, 2010
I was at Judith Kravitz’s transformational breath workshop this weekend and all I can say is “Wow!”
I was totally blown away. I thought she would be good, but not that good!
I’ve never seen so much healing take place in such a short period of time. Nor experience it first hand.
Judith had facilitators from England, Switzerland, Belgium and Turkey. All were there at their own expense, to learn from her and help her at the same time. All were really professional and deeply supportive.
Judith is just a beautiful beautiful human. What she is bringing into the world is awesome. Her next event is a 6 day training course in Turkey on 28th October. This course will be in English and Turkish. For more info contact Ertugrul Yilmaz yilma@hdm.com.tr

Ertugrul was one of the facilitators present at Judith’s worshop in Geneva. I was very impressed with him.

Is water a doorway into other worlds?
By Jena Griffiths | October 15, 2010
A few years ago I attended Masaru Emoto’s annual thanks and gratitude to water ceremony in Lichtenstein where Emoto spoke on his thesis that water is a carrier of information. Besides his magnificent water crystal images showing the power of thought, sound and prayer, the part I found most fascinating was his brief mention that NASA has record of Earth being bombarded daily by thousands of water meteorites.
Why us? Why not other planets like Mars? And, if water is a carrier of information, what are the implications?
The idea that water is a portal Read the rest of this entry »
