Connecting to a higher wisdom

By Jena Griffiths | June 25, 2012

One of the most powerful exercises I’ve ever come across for connecting to a higher wisdom,
or your higher God-self, is Phyllis Krystal’s Maypole exercise.
connecting to the divine
Use the Maypole practice as a way to connect daily, or more often, to ask for guidance and to
receive exactly what you need right now.

How to use this technique
Listen to the call to get the full technique. But here are the basics:
You choose any color ribbon – your choice for the day – and then visualize holding it and using it like a telephone line. The ribbon connects to a golden sphere at the top of the maypole (representing your own Higher Consciousness or God-self). Ask for your higher C to send you exactly what you need right now. Usually what we ask for is only a tiny fraction of what is actually possible so keep your request open.
There are several steps to this practice: asking for relaxing energy, asking for healing (including our need to control the outcome), asking for cleansing energy, for strengthening energy and for unconditional love. There’s also a step for sending this love to others. Phyllis will walk us through the entire process here.
Several groups of people around the world use the maypole for distance healing. You can do the same by starting your own group wherever you are in the world.

    Hi Rosalind,
Write really early in the morning, before your conscious brain switches on.
    All the best
